Much cozier than the micro fleece sleep sacks by Amy, CT
Previously our 10 month old was using a micro fleece [competitor brand] sleep sack which he wore with long footed pyjamas. Not only do I think that was not enough warmth for the Connecticut winter, but it had so much static electricity (even when I used fabric softener) it would spark at night and I'm sure that was waking him up.
Since we got the Baby Deedee he has actually been sleeping much better and we even lowered the thermostat 2 degrees to 70 degrees fahrenheit. No sparks and he seems quite cozy. Not sure if it's a coincidence or not but I'm not going to change anything since a sleeping baby is a beautiful thing!
I still put him in long sleeved footed p.j.s with the Baby Deedee over it. It's more consistent with what my husband and I sleep with - p.j.s plus sheets and a comforter with a duvet cover. The baby hasn't seemed too hot or anything - just cozy.

Wish I Found These Sooner! by SHB, Renton, WA
This is a great, warm sleep sack. It is made of breathable cotton and feels like a nice inside of a sleeping bag. Our son's room tends to be a bit colder than the main rooms of the house and this has been a great blanket sleeper over his pajamas to keep him warm.
Best sleep sack I've found, by BBchi.
I don't like the [competitor brand] sleep sacks because you have to put them over the babies' arms. I love these because they have the snaps over the shoulders. Plus they come in a size great for my 6 month old babies. And super comfy! I wish I had one for myself! The zipper is also larger and much easier to use than the [competitor brand] sleep sack zipper, especially in the dark. Holds up well in wash too.
Best sleeping bag out there! by V Dvorak, CA
I ordered this after going through several sleep sacks. I've used… [competitor list]. My baby's room gets pretty cold at night (we live in San Francisco and Sonoma county) and I typically have to keep a space heater in the room to keep her warm. I don't like using blankets because she tends to twist herself in them and I don't feel it's safe overall. With [competitor brand], she wakes up very cool to the touch and her hands are icicles.
With the deedee sleep sack, she's warm, but not over-heated. The temperature in her room dips between 65-69 degrees and the deedee sleep sacks do great. For reference, I put her in cotton pajamas at night. During the colder nights, I'll put socks on her and if it's not too cold, I'll put her in a onesie with no socks.
This is the perfect sleep sack. I will be purchasing this again for our next baby and will be giving them as gifts to my friends. Great product!
Helped my 7 month baby sleep through the night! by Drea2000
My son would not sleep more than 3-4 hours until 7 months old when I found this. I think it is just warmer than any other sleep sack or swaddling blankets and he just loves being cozy at night. I also think being able to touch his feet made him calm. Whatever it is - he sleeps 12 hours a night now !
Brilliant Product! by Amanda P, CA
I just wanted to say how much I LOVE this sleep sack. We originally bought a [competitor brand] sleep sack for my five month old baby. The zipper was defective and kept opening up mid-seam in the middle of the night. Additionally, I wasn't able to see the zipper in the dark to discover what was going on. Of course we returned it within a couple of uses.
This product has thought of EVERYTHING. It is so well made it's clear the zipper will not break mid-seam. The snaps, glow in in the dark zipper and cozy cocoon environment are all brilliant. I wish you made a slightly lighter weight sack for the upcoming summer months. Thanks so much for this product!
Absolutely love it! by Emily S, San Francisco
When we first bought sleep sacks for our newborn we went with [competitor name]. Very quickly we learned these were too thin (the room is typically ~68 degrees) and searched for an alternative. Deedee sleep nest are just perfect - this is truly a winter blanket in a sleep sack form. The inside material is comparable to down feathers and we feel much better knowing our little one is well covered.
Perfect! by Julie C, New York
We bought this sleepsack to take with us when we visited relatives in colder weather. Baby seemed to love it. We had to only dress him in a long sleeve onesie b/c it was so warm.
Great choice! by C Toutain, Vermont
I bought this sleeping bag for my 5 month old as I wanted something warm for the Winter... I was not disappointed, this sleeping bag is comfy, well made with a big zipper that's safe for baby. If you want to keep your baby warm during the cold season, this is a great choice.
