We live in Vermont and have had two very cold winters in a row...at night it has regularly been dipping below zero degrees. We do our best to keep the house at about 66 degrees but it still feels cold at night! We wanted to find a sleep sack that we felt would keep our baby warm throughout the night and the sleep nest is definitely it! Here is what I like best about this sleep nest: 1. The snaps and zipper make it very easy to take on and off for nighttime diaper changes, 2. the fabric doesn't create any extra static electricity when our baby wears fuzzy pajamas, and 3. it's warm! When we unzip her during nighttime changes or in the morning she is toasty warm and even her little hands are warm. I highly recommend this product especially if you live in a cold climate.
These are fantastic sleep sacks By E. L. Boss, By
These are fantastic sleep sacks. We transitioned to this after the Baby Merlin sleep suit (which I also recommend as an easy way to transition off swaddling). I wanted something that would keep my son warm in our cold, old New England cape, and be safer than putting him to bed with a blanket. He's now 2 and we still use them in the colder months. They're nice and cozy, and another perk is that the sleeping bags hinder climbing, so once he's in his bag he really can't try to climb out. The quality of these is very nice. We have two and just alternate between the two. They've lasted a long time!
I am thrilled with this sleep sack! Definitely better than my XXXX (competitor brand) ones for the winter, but also a lot more expensive. The pattern is adorable and I especially love how big the zipper is. The XXXX (competitor brand) ones are hard to reconnect at night when it's dark, but this one is much easier. I was worried that the M wouldn't last her for very long, but it has a ton of room. My little girl is 9 months old and a little on the petite side (I don't know her exact measurements but she just moved up to a 9m size in Carters). I would estimate she has about 5 inches of room at the end of the sleep sack. The v-neck and overall shape is perfect. I was hoping it was going to be thicker and I was a little disappointed about that, but it's still much thicker than the halo and I'm really happy so far.
Love this! By m balie, By
So cute and practical I bought this for my four year old and he loves it. He wiggles around a lot a night so it keeps him warm. I don't usually like fleece, but this is nothing like the low quality micro fleece you see around, more like thick Patagonia quality and very soft.
Mom and toddler approved! By Washington girl, By
I absolutely love this product. I wish I discovered it earlier. My daughter is 3.5 yrs old and is in 75th percentile in height. Sleep kicker comes in 1 size - 2T-4T. My daughter is very comfortable in it and I think we can definitely wear it next winter as well. I ditched regular blanket all together. I put her in PJs, slip sleep kicker on, a pair of socks and off to bed she goes. I dont have to worry about her getting cold at night. Sleep Kicker is made of very soft fleece, my daughter wanted to wear it the day we got it. She also wants to wear it to school :) I definitely believe that for any toddler that does not like blanket or kicks it off at night, Sleep Kicker is a great solution.
I was secretly hoping that once my baby stopped kicking off her blanket and waking up cold, she would stop coming to our bed in the middle of the night..she still comes to us,but now she looks awfully cute in her Sleep Kicker. I must say, a toddler with bed head and in oversized fleece jumper looks ridiculously cute :)

This was the ticket to sleep for my baby. ..., By Erin Sink, By
This was the ticket to sleep for my baby. The combination of warmth and weight really helped her sleep longer. Bought every size! Wish they had it in grownup sizes. :)
We love the Baby Deedee and it's the only sleep sack ..., By Missy, By
We love the Baby Deedee and it's the only sleep sack we use for our 8 month old. My favorite part is the snaps at the top so I don't have to wrangle her arms in and out. It's also a great year-round weight.

It is made from very nice quilted fabric. I feel confident my daughter is warm while wearing this.
