Our son would not be swaddled under any circumstances as a newborn. Our daughter was fine being swaddled and we knew exactly how to do it but he would not have it. This was given to me by my sister who used it with her son and it is perfect for all seasons. Very light weight but enough so the baby feels safe and secure. In the winter you can dress the child more warmly and in the summer put a onesie and voilà! I ended up buying another one when he grew out of the small and sadly we are now transitioning him out of it to blankets since he is now 13 months. Highly recommend for all especially if your baby wont be swaddled.

After using the regular Baby Deedee Sleep Nest all winter, we’ve transitioned to the Sleep Nest Lite for spring/summer and love it. It’s so SOFT and cozy and it seems to get softer with each wash, like a favorite t-shirt. The thing I specifically like better about this version than the regular Sleep Nest is that there is not quilted stitching on the inside that can get pulled/snagged.

These sleep sacks are far nicer than the (XXXX) sleep sacks we used to use with a double layer of soft jersey material. The snaps make it easier to get on/off, especially if you have a little ninja like my son. He wears it 3 times a day — all night long and then for 2 naps a day and it’s held up really well. Definitely worth the money because you get what you pay for and we were going through twice as many cheaper versions until I switched to Baby Deedee.

My only minor complaint about these sleep sacks is that with a bigger, plastic zipper (compared to others like Halo), my son has figured out how to unzip it and take off the sack. I reached out to Baby Deedee customer service and they were fantastic — they had a great suggestion for me to turn the sleep sack inside out, so that my son couldn’t pull the zipper. It worked like a charm! He probably doesn’t need the sleep sack now that the weather is so warm, but it helps prevent him from trying to climb the sides of the crib, so this trick bought us a few extra months of peace of mind!

Once my youngest outgrew his sleep nests and was in a toddler bed I realized it was impossible to find a toddler quilt big enough to actually cover a toddler. The quality is super nice and you don’t need a sheet. My son loves his so much he won’t let us put it in the wash, we have to wash and dry the quilt when he is at preschool! Highly recommend this, it is really worth the money.

I love your products. i buy them for my grandchildren. my daughter in law was so tired since lily would keep her up all night crying. I came across the sleep nest and it changed her life. Lily now sleeps anywhere from 10-12 hours at a time! My daughter in law sometimes has to wake her up because lily will sleep in until 10am and she’s in bed by 7pm! I love these pajamas!! I’ve been using various baby deedee products for the last 6 months or so, and these are by far my favorite! I love the short sleeves and footless one piece now that summer has finally arrived in Colorado, but the best part is the material. It feels like your favorite t-shirt that just keeps getting softer and cozier with every wash. We have used our fair share of cheaper pjs (Carters, Old Navy, Gap, Gymboree, etc.) and none of them have held up as well as these do. I think I’ll be getting rid of all the cheap sets and just buy another pair of these. My son is 15 months old, so we are past the point of middle of the night diaper changes, but the zipper on the legs makes any diaper changes fairly painless. I’ll take any bit of extra help when it comes to changing a squirmy toddler!

Some people have commented that they are tight — we haven’t found them to be overly constricting at all. In fact, my son hangs out in them all morning long while playing and eating breakfast, and he has never seemed uncomfortable. We have found that they are easier to put on legs first, then pull up like pants, then put your kiddo’s arms through. My husband tried to do arms first and it was not easy. Legs first and you won’t have a problem.
