Does the Sleepsie Velours run small?
Yes. Because it is made entirely without flame retardant chemicals, it is required to have a very snug safety fit. Additionally, the thick plush velour lining takes up a little extra room inside the garment. We highly recommend ordering one full size up to ensure your baby is comfortable and to make getting their arms and legs dressed much easier.
Is this pajama too thick for everyday use?
It depends on the temperature of your home. This is our heaviest winter weight romper, featuring a durable sweatshirt exterior and a highly insulated velour interior. It is exceptionally warm and perfect for drafty houses, cold winter nights, or camping trips. If your nursery is kept very warm, it will likely be too thick.
How does the zipper design help during winter nights?
Exposing your baby to cold air during midnight changes can completely wake them up. Our premium YKK zipper runs entirely between the legs. This allows you to open only the bottom half of the garment, keeping your little ones chest safely covered and perfectly warm while you quickly change their diaper.
Will the thick velour lined fabric shrink in the wash?
Since the exterior is crafted from a premium cotton blend, some minor shrinkage can occur after the first wash. To maintain the proper sizing and keep the inner velour incredibly soft and plush, we strongly advise washing the pajama in cold water and drying it on the absolute lowest heat setting.
Why is this winter pajama footless?
The footless design provides excellent versatility for growing children. It allows active toddlers to safely walk and play on smooth floors in the morning without slipping. For bedtime on particularly freezing nights, you can easily pair the romper with cozy socks to keep their toes warm.
